ATLANTA — RedPrairie here and JDA Software, Scottsdale, Ariz., both suppliers of enterprise software and services to retailers and manufacturers, announced today that JDA and affiliates of RedPrairie have entered into a definitive merger agreement. RedPrairie is paying $1.9 billion for JDA, acquiring all outstanding shares of JDA common stock for $45 per share. The new company will have revenues of over $1 billion.
