Playing on the trend for healthier and gluten-free meal options, the produce departments at Acme Fresh Market and Stew Leonard’s have begun selling “noodles” made from squash and other vegetables.
Acme’s Veggie Spaghetti features a mixture of vegetables. One commenter on the retailer’s Facebook post about the new item expressed concern about the price.
The response from Facebook fans to Stew’s Green & Yellow Squash Noodles was mostly positive.
