Walmart ups ante in fresh with Produce 2.0

Not to be outdone in fresh foods, Walmart has started implementing a redesigned produce department across its base of more than 4,700 U.S. stores. Dubbed Produce 2.0, the new format brings a “refreshed” shopping experience for fruit and vegetables, including more space, more selection and more signage to spotlight value, Walmart said.
