Albert Joins Gelson's Parent as Director

LOS ANGELES -- M. Mark Albert has been elected to fill a vacant position on the board of directors of Arden Group here, the company said. Arden is the parent company of Gelson‘s Markets. Albert is a managing director of TCW/Cresent Mezzanine, a mezzanine financing firm. For Arden, he will serve a term expiring in 2008. He has also been named to the audit committee.
