Larree Renda, executive vice president, chief strategist and administrative officer for Safeway, Pleasanton, Calif., became the first woman to be inducted into the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation Hall of Achievement at a dinner last week. Renda was presented with a plaque signifying her induction. Steve Burd, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Safeway, called Renda “Safeway's superwoman.”
