Consumer Goods Forum Launches Online Network

PARIS — The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) here, a consortium of 400 retailers, manufacturers, service providers and other stakeholders across 70 countries, has created a professional online network to facilitate collaboration across the retail and consumer goods industry.

Indra NooyiCalled the Knowledge Navigator, the online network “will enable the advanced industry collaboration and communication among CGF members needed to tackle the industry’s global challenges and opportunities,” said Indra Nooyi (left), PepsiCo’s chairman and chief executive officer and co‐chair of the CGF Knowledge Sharing and People Development pillar, in a statement.

“This new one stop digital center will enable CGF working group members from manufacturers, retailers and CGF staff to virtually work more effectively and efficiently together on emerging trends, sustainability, health and safety, operational excellence, and talent development,” added Gareth Ackerman, chairman, Pick n Pay Stores, the other co-chair of the CGF Knowledge Sharing and People Development pillar and the newly elected co‐chair of the CGF.

The Knowledge Navigator was developed in partnership with Microsoft, CapGemini, Newsgator and Artis.
