Flur Exits Family Dollar

MATTHEWS, N.C. — Family Dollar Stores here said Monday that Dorlisa K. Flur, vice chair-strategy and chief administrative officer, plans to leave the company to pursue other interests, effective May 2.

“Dorlisa has served the company in a variety of leadership roles and has been a valued part of our team,” said Howard R. Levine, chairman and chief executive officer. “Her contributions to Family Dollar’s success are greatly appreciated, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

The company did not provide information about a successor.

Flur joined Family Dollar in 2004 as senior vice president, strategy and business development; she was promoted to executive vice president, strategy and marketing, in 2008 and in mid-2009 was named executive vice president and chief merchandising officer before being named to her current post late last year.
