ARLINGTON, Va. — Food Marketing Institute here said yesterday that the 2008 FMI Show in Las Vegas will begin a day earlier than previously planned, on Sunday, May 4. A keynote speaker has been scheduled for 4 p.m., and some afternoon educational sessions are planned, beginning at 2 p.m. Previously FMI had said the show would take place Monday through Wednesday, May 5-7, at the request of members. Yesterday the association said it would begin the program on Sunday to accommodate attendees who arrive for the weekend.
