Giant Reopens Former Fresh & Green’s Sites

LANDOVER, Md. — Ahold’s Giant-Landover division on Thursday is expected to hold soft openings at the two Baltimore-area stores it bought from Fresh & Green’s.

The stores, located in Hampden and Parkville, were acquired in early February from Natural Market Restaurant Group, Toronto. They were among the eight stores in the area that NMRG had purchased last summer from A&P in an auction.

Giant completed extensive renovations at both locations, which closed shortly after the deal was announced. The Hampden location replaces a neighboring Giant store
