BATON ROUGE, La. — Health and Human Services Secretary Michael Leavitt visited the distribution center of Associated Grocers here yesterday as part of a review he is compiling on the safety of imported food products for President Bush. Leavitt and members of his task force also visited Matherne’s Associated Supermarket here. The visits were coordinated by the National Grocers Association, Arlington, Va. J.H. “Jay” Campbell, president and chief executive officer of Associated Grocers, is a member of NGA’s board.
