DETROIT - Kroger Co. is planning to acquire 25 of the Farmer Jack stores here that A&P is seeking to sell, according to a report yesterday in the Detroit Free Press. Neither A&P, Montvale, N.J., nor Kroger, Cincinnati, could be reached for comment.
