CINCINNATI — At least two divisions of the Kroger Co. here have cut back on the number of 24-hour stores in their operations. The changes were made at four of 15 Kroger supermarkets in Knoxville, Tenn., part of the chain's Atlanta division, and an unspecified number of the 91 Detroit stores in the Michigan division, all of which previously operated around the clock but have subsequently shortened their hours.
