MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Duncan Mac Naughton, who resigned this week from his role as an executive vice president at Supervalu, begins a new job as chief merchandising officer at Wal-Mart Canada next month, a spokeswoman for the retailer here told SN Tuesday.
Mac Naughton is a 25-year veteran of the grocery industry who oversaw companywide merchandising and marketing at Supervalu after serving a similar function for Albertsons. Mac Naughton will begin his new role at Wal-Mart Canada on Oct. 13, the spokeswoman said. The position is currently vacant.
