JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Acosta Sales & Marketing here said Wednesday that Don McGeorge, the retired president and chief operating officer of Kroger Co., has joined Acosta’s board of directors.
“Don is one of the most well-respected leaders in the retail space, and it is our privilege to welcome him to our board of directors,” said Gary Chartrand, Acosta executive chairman of the board. “His deep industry experience and leadership provide a unique retail perspective and helps round out our board’s expertise.”
McGeorge, who retired from Kroger in 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, also serves on the boards of Turning Point Ministries, Viking Cold Solutions and SymphonyIRI Group.
