MIAMI — Sedano's Supermarkets cut the ribbon on a new, 40,000-square-foot flagship location here last week. On hand were (left to right) Jorge Guerra Jr., Agustin Herrán, Javier Herrán and Jose Herrán Jr., members of the families that own the 31-store banner. The new store includes a brick-oven pizza, a hot prepared-foods offering and custom-cut meat department. The chain, considered to be largest Hispanic-focused operator in the U.S., recently unveiled plans to expand to the Orlando, Fla., market.
