ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said Monday it expects to increase exhibit space by 44% at its 2014 show, scheduled for Feb. 9-12 at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Among major new exhibitors are the North American Meat Association and the Global Market Development Center.
NAMA — which held its annual MEATXPO in conjunction with NGA's 2013 convention — will exhibit products in a 2,400-square-foot pavilion featuring meat suppliers and products; and GMDC will host a 3,000-square-foot pavilion showcasing general merchandise and health, wellness and beauty care products.
In addition, the Produce Marketing Association will host a pavilion for the third year in a row, expanding to 3,600 square feet; while a 3,200-square-foot exhibit will feature NGA's technology partners, the Center for Advancing Retail Technology (CART) and Personiphi, to showcase technological innovations and solutions.
