NEW YORK - Private equity firms Clayton Dubilier & Rick and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts may make a joint bid for the assets of Ahold's U.S. Foodservice business, published reports said Friday. Bloomberg News, citing confidential sources, said the buyout firms here were planning a bid next month. Amsterdam-based Ahold said it would seek to sell U.S. Foodservice last month.
