Rayford Named WAFC Secretary

LAKEWOOD, Calif. — The Western Association of Food Chains here said Rick Rayford, president and chief executive officer of Brookshire Grocery Co., Tyler, Texas, has been named secretary.

He succeeds Bryan Kaltenbach, president of Food 4 Less, Los Angeles, who remains WAFC treasurer but also served as interim secretary after Sue Klug, the previous association secretary, left her position as president of the Southern California division of Albertsons earlier this year. She has subsequently been appointed to an advisory position on the WAFC board.
