LONDON -- Dallas-based private-equity firm Texas Pacific Group is reportedly looking into making a bid for supermarket operator J. Sainsbury here. According to a Reuters report, Texas Pacific is teaming up with private-equity groups Bain Capital and Cinven to contemplate making an offer for Sainsbury. Sainsbury last week confirmed it had been notified that a private-equity consortium including Blackstone Group and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. was considering making an offer.
