Stop & Shop/Giant Cuts Prices in Baby Aisle

QUINCY, Mass. -- Ads breaking today for Ahold‘s Stop & Shop and Giant-Landover divisions promote everyday price cuts in the baby aisle, the chain said yesterday. The price reductions are a part of the Value Improvement Program at the banners, based here, which uses edited selections and internal cost reductions to fund lower everyday prices. The banners previously rolled out the lower prices in the produce and paper aisles.
