MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. over the weekend was scheduled to open 61 new stores, the retailer here said. The discounter said it plans to open eight stores in California; seven in Florida; and five each in Minnesota, Ohio and Texas. The openings will bring Target to 1,591 locations in 47 states, the retailer said.
