RICHMOND, Va. Ukrop‘s Super Markets here is not for sale, according to remarks attributed to its top officials in a newspaper report Monday. "We can assure you that we have not spoken or talked to a single company, broker or banker about the possibility of selling our company. End of story," James E. Ukrop, chairman of the retailer, was quoted as saying in a Richmond Times-Dispatch article. Robert S. Ukrop, president and chief executive officer, expressed the same sentiment, the report added.
