CARLISLE, Pa. — Ahold USA said Monday that Jan van Dam has been appointed to the position of executive vice president of supply chain and e-commerce.
In this role, van Dam will report directly to James McCann, chief operating officer, and will be transitioning into his new assignment in April.
Ahold said van Dam will focus on leading a supply chain organization that supports Ahold USA and its four divisions. In addition to supply chain, van Dam will also have responsibility for Ahold USA’s e-commerce business, with Peapod president and general manager Andrew Parkinson reporting to him.
