SPRINGFIELD, N.J. — Village Super Markets, the ShopRite operator based here, has agreed to acquire one of the nine stores in southern New Jersey that Stop & Shop last week said it planned to sell to Elizabeth, N.J.-based Wakefern, the cooperative that supplies the ShopRite chain.
