BENTONVILLE, Ark. --
Wal-Mart Stores here is planning to realign some of its top management personnel, including the heads of its U.S. and Sam‘s Club divisions, Advertising Age reported yesterday. The report said Eduardo-Castro Wright, chief executive officer of the Wal-Mart Stores division in the U.S., would be named to an international position, and that Doug McMillon, the current CEO of Sam‘s Club, would be named to succeed him. Wal-Mart could not be reached for comment. The moves would follow other recent changes at the retail giant, including the shift of John Fleming from the top marketing post to the top merchandising position. The magazine also said it obtained an internal Wal-Mart memo listing several other executive changes, including the appointment of Scott McCall to head consumables and Paul Beahm to head pharmacy merchandising.
