LAS VEGAS — The California Grocers Association attracted more than 850 food retailers, wholesalers and suppliers to its annual Western Food Industry Expo at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino here late last month. The event included a golf tournament in nearby Henderson, Nev., along with guest speakers, networking events and a full slate of 700 face-to-face prescheduled meetings between suppliers and retailers.
