Natural products e-tailer AbesMarket.com has launched a program offering a curated selection of product offerings at a $2 price point including shipping, a move it said would help spark initial trial.

“We are thrilled to provide a solution that will make natural simple,” Richard Demb, co-founder and CEO of AbesMarket, said in a statement. “We have partnered with many of our favorite brands, big and small, to make it easier than ever to try their products. We all understand that trying something new is sometimes a risk — maybe it won’t taste good, maybe my kids never touch it — at its core we are removing that risk and opening up new, better, options.”

According to the company, the "Try for $2" program grew from analyzing shopper data indicating consumers cited the risk of trying something new and confusion as to what products to pick and why as the biggest barriers to buying natural products. The program includes a variety of products from brands including World Peas, Kind Bars, Barnana and Birch Benders.
