MONTVALE, N.J. — Officials of A&P here are set to meet with labor union representatives in December to discuss funding health care, union sources said.
The talks come after unions exercised a right to reopen negotiations following what it called a failure to reach an adequate health care funding agreement at the onset of the Affordable Care Act, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 464A, a Little Falls, N.J.-based union local representing workers at A&P and Pathmark stores.
Negotiations are set for Dec. 11 and 16.
