TORONTO — United Food and Commercial Workers local unions in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta have threatened to strike as early as Saturday unless progress is made in their respective negotiations with Loblaw, UFCW Canada said Thursday. The negotiations cover workers at Real Canadian Superstore, Extra Foods and Real Canadian Warehouse Club stores operated by the Toronto-based retailer.
