Stop & Shop Hosts Summits to Guide Consumers

WOODBURY, N.Y. — Stop & Shop this week hosted the first of three scheduled “Affordable Food Summits” to help consumers cope with the rising cost of groceries. The first summit, at a Stop & Shop here, was hosted by New York Assemblyman Charles Levine, a member of the Assembly Committee on Social Services. He was joined by an economist and other experts. The second summit is scheduled for next Tuesday in East Northport, N.Y., and a third is slated for Madison, N.J., the following week.
