Kroger Touts ‘New Lower Prices’ at Ralphs

COMPTON, Calif. — Ralphs Supermarkets here, a division of Kroger Co., Cincinnati, is poised to lower prices at all of its Southern California stores tomorrow, according to an ad in Sunday's Los Angeles Times. The ad states: “Coming soon to a Ralphs near you. Wednesday, June 25. New lower prices every day.” Officials of Ralphs and Kroger could not be reached for comment. Kroger is scheduled to report today on financial results for the first quarter.
