Sprouts Farmers Market today confirmed that it will open a store in Huntsville early next year.
The store, to be located at 7504 U.S. 72 West NW, Unit B, is the second site in the state that the Arizona-based specialty grocer has officially acknowledged.
Last month, Sprouts said it would open its first Alabama location in the Birmingham area, but it did not pinpoint the address.
Today, the company said that store will be located at 5291 Highway 280, Unit 130, which is in Brook Highland Plaza.
Both stores are set to open in early 2015. Each are expected to bring an estimated 100 jobs to their communities.
Although Sprouts had not confirmed its Huntsville store until today, development plans indicated it was in the works earlier this year.

Sprouts is likely not finished with new store announcements in Alabama. Last year, a Hoover planning official said Sprouts was slated to be part of a shopping center planned at the intersection of Interstate 459 and John Hawkins Parkway in that city.
In today's announcement, the company also listed eight other stores, along with addresses, that are set to open early next year. Besides Huntsville and Birmingham, they are located in Bakersfield, Calif.; Cumming, Ga.; Daly City, Calif.; Houston, Texas; Liberty, Mo.; Mansfield, Texas; Scottsdale, Az.; and South Jordan, Utah.
Grand opening dates will be announced later this year.
Sprouts operates more than 180 locations in 10 states.
The stores feature fresh-baked goods, on-site butchers, vitamin departments, eclectic selections of beer and wine and thousands of natural, organic and gluten-free groceries.
