ALTOONA, Pa. — Sheetz here, which operates 339 convenience stores in six states, has achieved a tenfold return on its three-year-old investment in online sourcing/reverse auction technology provided by Category One, Los Angeles, Category One announced yesterday. “Category One has helped us to identify the key categories and provided us with leading-edge auction technology,” said Bill Ruggles, senior purchasing manager at Sheetz.
