ALTOONA, Pa. — Sheetz here, which operates 330 convenience stores, and Chase Card Services, Wilmington, Del., yesterday announced the launch of enhancements to the Sheetz MasterCard with blink, including rebates for purchases. The card now offers a 10% rebate on all Sheetz purchases and 2% rebate for all other eligible purchases for the first 90 days the account is open. Thereafter, it provides a 3% rebate on all Sheetz purchases, a 2% rebate on groceries, travel and dining purchases, and a 1% rebate on all other eligible purchases. The rebates can be redeemed for $25 gift cards at a variety of retailers. In 2005, the Sheetz MasterCard from Chase became the first co-branded credit card to feature blink, a contactless payment method that expedites payment. “With the Sheetz MasterCard, our customers always come out ahead,” Rich Steckroth, director of business development, Sheetz, said in a statement. “Not only do they have a faster, more efficient in-store experience, but they also earn rewards for essential, everyday items.”
