Whole Foods Launches Sustainability Film

AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market announced it is featuring “GROW!” — a film about sustainable farmers — online this month.

The film, which follows 20 young farmers from Georgia focused on producing sustainable crops, is part of the retailer’s Do Something Reel Film Festival.

"We believe that these young farmers hold the key to a more sustainable future and that they are the solution to our broken food system," said Christine Anthony, who wrote and directed the film with Owen Masterson. "The Do Something Reel Festival is a great way to get people energized, and we hope that people who see GROW! will be inspired to think about the way they shop, cook and eat."

The film can be purchased online from several vendors; view the details on www.dosomethingreel.com.
