EDINA, Minn. — Lund Food Holdings, which operates 11 Lunds and 11 Byerly’s grocery stores in the Twin Cities and surrounding area, launched its first app in both the iPhone App Store and the Google Play Store for all 22 stores.

The Lunds and Byerly’s app allows consumers to view product selection, including hundreds of weekly sale items, as well as see department or aisle information and share deals with family and friends. Consumers can also create multiple shopping lists, adding items by searching, manually entering or scanning a product’s bar code.

Other features include the ability to view thousands of recipes and add ingredients to a shopping list; access exclusive offers and contests, such as immediate scratch-to-win giveaways; view hours, services and contact information for every store; and call any location with one touch. Consumers can also find a Lunds or Byerly’s closest to their current location.

Shoppers who download the app between Jan. 24 and Feb. 6 will have access to an exclusive in-app code for a free movie rental from a Redbox kiosk inside any Lunds or Byerly’s. The offer code is valid through Feb. 6.
