Ball’s Food Stores Goes Live With Price Optimization

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Ball’s Food Stores here, operator of 28 Hen House and Ball’s Price Chopper supermarkets, has gone live with price optimization, KSS, Florham Park, N.J., announced yesterday. Using the KSS PriceStrat solution, Ball’s is reviewing and optimizing regular and promotional prices in key categories, after implementing the product in less than 14 weeks. “KSS has been able to quickly deploy price optimization inside of our operations and we are intent on using the KSS PriceStrat optimization solution to ensure that we are offering value to our consumers,” said Mike Beal, chief financial officer of Ball’s Food Stores, in a statement.
