LE MARS, Iowa — Wells’ Dairy here has selected Prescient Applied Intelligence, West Chester, Pa., to power the vendor-managed inventory (VMI) program that manages the replenishment of its retail partners’ inventory levels, Prescient announced yesterday. “When one of our significant business partners approached us about participating in VMI, we saw it as an opportunity to forge a stronger relationship with them,” said Mike Kooistra, director of information services at Wells’ Dairy, in a statement.
