Fresh Encounter Opts for Price Optimization

FINDLAY, Ohio — Fresh Encounter here has reached an agreement with Revionics, Granite Bay, Calif., to use its subscription-based price optimization services, Revionics announced yesterday. Fresh Encounter operates 32 stores across Ohio and Eastern Indiana under the banners Community Markets, Great Scot Community Markets, Fulmer Community Markets and Sack N’ Save Supermarket. “Price Optimization will help us balance retaining customer loyalty while ensuring our profitability now and in the future,” said Todd Perry, senior vice president of Fresh Encounter, in a statement. Other technology initiatives at Fresh Encounter include Internet-based promotions and circulars, as well as an integrated fuel discount program.
