STOCKTON, Calif. — PAQ Inc., a 15-store supermarket chain based here, has deployed an NCR POS software and hardware solution that addresses multiple formats, NCR, Atlanta, announced yesterday. "A number of our locations include restaurants or fuel operations or both, and we were looking for a single POS solution that could manage all of these activities," said Dennis Cove, director of strategic alliances for PAQ, which operates under the Food 4 Less and Rancho San Miguel banners. In addition to NCR’s ACS software, PAQ selected its RealPOS 80c POS terminals with the DynaKey cashier interface, as well as its thermal receipt printers and RealScan bar-code scanners. SNCR California is responsible for the sale and installation as well as ongoing support of the solution.
