Bottom Dollar Food Promotes N.J. Opening

SALISBURY, N.C. — Bottom Dollar Food will celebrate the opening of its newest store in New Jersey this Friday by giving away a reusable bag filled with groceries to the first 200 shoppers in all of its eight New Jersey locations.

The new store is located on Route 130 in Bordentown, N.J., at the site of a former Acme supermarket. It will be the 34th Bottom Dollar store in the greater Philadelphia market since arriving less than two years ago.

Bottom Dollar is a discount division of Delhaize Group.

Former Genuardi's executive Don Ciotti, who is head honcho of the Philly area BD's, is doing a great job. He probably anticipates more vacant supermarkets soon in the Delaware Valley as more and more shoppers are searching for quality groceries priced right!!

Thanks for visiting us Don..Genuardi's was a great store but New Jersey was always a service oriented state in any retail venture. Good luck.
