C&K Launches 1st Loyalty Program

BROOKINGS, Ore. — C&K Market here said Wednesday it has launched a new loyalty program that will include customer-interest clubs, Internet coupons, personalized offers and a points-based discount program.

The All Access Rewards program allows customers to earn one point for every $1 spent in the store. When customers accumulate 500 points, they receive a $5 discount on their grocery bill. The loyalty platform, the first ever for the retailer, is powered by Bellingham, Wash.-based technology provider Accelitec.

“We see this program as a way to give customers more of what they want, gaining their feedback and insights quicker so that we can provide service in our stores that no other retailer can touch,” said Terry Spencer, vice president of merchandising and marketing for C&K Market, which operates 62 stores in California and Oregon under the Ray’s Food Place, Shop Smart and C&K Market banners.

C&K said the loyalty program will be part of a larger marketing and advertising push that around customer service, community involvement and creating customer value.
