Wal-Mart Opens 1st Calif. Neighborhood Market

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — The first Walmart Neighborhood Market in California opened here Friday.

It is only the fourth Neighborhood Market on the West Coast. The 31,000-square-foot store is located in a former Rite-Aid drug store that has been vacant for two years.

"The [store] will help reenergize a shopping center deflated by years-long vacancies and bring increased visibility to surrounding businesses, and it will bring added convenience for area residents and beach-going tourists," said Huntington Beach Mayor Don Hansen.

Forgot to mention & congratulate you on the success you are having at your newly opened Neighborhood Market In Hialeah / Greater Miami, Florida.

And, my goodness, from 103 St. to 167 must be no more than 4 miles from your super Wal Mart. Xlnt.
