Description

Incremental Purchase Drivers. Perceived Out of Stock Levels. Effective Merchandising

Sales in the meat case continues to be crucial for driving success in the grocery channel. Key insights into gaining additional consumer purchases are revealed in this research utilizing virtual shopping technology.

Consumers shopping habits were observed and analyzed during a virtual shopping trip in the meat department. Participants shopped 1 of 2 meat case layouts - "traditional" or "robust'. Research findings were analyzed to provide insights into opportunities to build incremental sales, explore consumer attitudes toward the meat case shopping experience, in-stock positioning and challenges to purchase.

This webinar will give attendees an opportunity to view the virtual meat case shopping experience, hear key research findings that address opportunity areas, and ultimately identify how to build incremental sales in the fresh meat department.
