RICHMOND, Va. -- Executives and shareholders of Supervalu, Minneapolis, gathered here late last month for Supervalu's annual meeting. The event was held in Richmond for the first time as Supervalu recognized customers it added as a result of last year's purchase of Richfood Holdings. The meeting coincided with executive changes at Supervalu, with Jeff Noddle appointed president and chief operating officer and longtime CEO Mike Wright saying he would step down from that post within the year but remain chairman.
