GREENVILLE, S.C. — Food Lion said it would reopen six former Bloom stores in this market today under the Food Lion banner.

Salisbury, N.C.-based Food Lion, a division of Delhaize America, entered the market in 2006 as one of the first trial areas for the Bloom concept outside of Charlotte, N.C.

The six conversions, which are being supported with gift-card giveaways and other promotions, are located in Greenville, Anderson, Greer (two stores), Simpsonville and Seneca.
