AVENEL, N.J. — Foodtown Supermarkets will celebrate the grand opening on four new stores in New York City on Friday, the cooperative here said.

Foodtown of Williamsburg, owned by Nasri Abed, will be opening its doors for the first time on Friday. The new store is located on North 3rd Street in Brooklyn. Foodtown of Bainbridge, in the Bronx, is celebrating a grand reopening after it burned down in 2009. The store is owned and operated by Sydney, Daniel and Noah Katz.

Also Friday, two locations of Mauricio's Marketplace locations will be celebrating grand openings. A new licensee of the cooperative, Mauricio's Marketplace stores are located in upper Manhattan and are owned and operated by Mauricio Fernandez.
