Vons Reunion Scheduled

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — A reunion for current and former Vons personnel — including company management, office administrators, facilities management and support staff — along with vendors who have a relationship with the chain is scheduled for Sept. 11 at the Pacific Palms Hotel and Conference Center here.

A similar event was held a year ago and it was so well-received, an industry spokesman told SN, that it was decided to repeat it this year.

Special guests will include Ken Olsen and Larry Del Santo, both former chief executive officers; and Jerry Fahey and Dick Goodspeed, both former presidents.
