PARSIPPANY, N.J. — With her caramel apple pecan cheesecake pie, Kings Super Market customer Teresa Comar (right), from Union, N.J., took top honors in the company's Holiday Apple Pie Baking Contest, staged Nov. 18 at Kings' Short Hills, N.J., flagship store.

The contest, which invited customers to enter their best-recipe apple pie for judging by representatives of the New Jersey Baker's Trade Board, was orchestrated by Kenneth Downey Sr., Kings director of bakery sales and merchandising.
