De Cecco pasta celebrated 120 years in the U.S. with a reception at NYC’s trendy High Line Room and Terrace, in The Standard Hotel, on July 1. The Italian based family run company hosted the Consul General of Italy in New York, the Honorable Natalia Quintavalle and Dr. Pier Paolo Celeste, The Italian Trade Commissioner and Executive Director for the U.S.A. To help De Cecco observe the occasion, Dr. Celeste, the Italian Trade Commissioner, inducted De Cecco into the Italian Trade Commission Hall of Fame and presented Marco de Ceglie, CEO of De Cecco USA, with a plaque in recognition of the company’s enduring commitment and contribution to the Italian food Industry in the United States. “We are pleased to welcome our honored guests to help celebrate De Cecco’s 120 years in the USA," said de Ceglie. Today De Cecco is the pasta of choice for many of the most noted chefs in the USA and internationally.  At this event, and concurrently at the Fancy Food Show, we proudly showed the American market, particularly the American consumer, why De Cecco enjoys a superior reputation in Italy and around the globe.”
